Risk Concern: Missing Episodes / Self Harm / Abusive relationship with boyfriend

 

How is the YP faring?

Maisie is currently feeling low in mood and is not engaging with staff as much as she needs to. 

Maisie lacks motivation and tends to state she can’t be bothered with most things.

 

Maisie has not engaged with any form of education or employment plan encouraged by her key worker.

 

YP is achieving an average 65% score on her skills and self -care targets

 

Risk behaviour & summary

Maisie is prioritising her relationship with her boyfriend Charlie over the actions she needs to take for her own life. Charlie has been known to be physically violent towards Maisie and on an occasion in May Charlie was arrested for assaulting Maisie. Charlie is not allowed to have contact with Maisie.

Maisie lacks the ability to recognise positive relationships and has stated that in May on one occasion she took cocaine. Maisie has informed staff that she is currently trying to get pregnant and has been trying for about a year.

Maisie is having unprotected sex and is putting herself at risk to get a sexually transmitted disease or an unplanned  baby.

Maisie needs to attend a sexual health clinic and seek advise on safe sex.  staff will support and encourage her to do so.

Maisie's key worker will sign post her to all sexual health resources available to her locally and in further locations.
Maisie will receive advice and support on avoiding violent relationships and how to exit them safely.

Charlie's attempts to contact Maisie will be . closely monitored.
Police contact to be updated with regular reports on the situation.
